Announcing FOUR new Dublin Bus models from Irish Retro.
With the kind permission of Classic Hits 98FM we are delighted to announce that not one, not two, not even three but FOUR new RH models will come on stream in February/March of 2027.
Based on the highly successful RH Britbus R701 model, these will feature the 98FM semi-AOA (offside and rear with core green livery front/ nearside) carried by ten of the class across all Dublin Bus garages.
Vehicles chosen to be modelled are RH63 (C.Tarf) on route 29A to Newgrove Cross; RH66 (C.Road) on 66 Maynooth; RH98 (R.End), how could we not, on 15A Limekiln Avenue and RH134 (S.Hill) on the 20B Ardlea Road.
Only 150 of each type are being produced, and pre-ordering is recommended. Regular RRP will be €75.00, however pre-orders at €65.00 are available until 19th November 2026. An added bonus is that all four (one of each type) will be available at a special rate of €250.00. All prices are + P&P.

DUBLIN’S BUSES
Dublin’s Buses written by Cyril Mac an tSaoir and the late Paddy Flanagan was published by the Transport Research Associates in 1968. It was for many years the bible for road passenger transport enthusiasts in Ireland. With the kind permission of the author, the book is being re-published as part of the celebrations of A Century of Dublin’s Buses - as it originally appeared in 1968, the only difference being that the price of the 112pp book is now €19.95 rather than 17s/6d 57 years ago !
